What is Pride?
Definition: (n) confidence and self-respect as expressed by members of a group, typically one that has been socially marginalized, on the basis of their shared identity, culture, and experience.
Pride began when the first brick was thrown during the Stonewall Riots in New York 1969. What started as a revolution for recognition from LGBTQ+ people, has now become a yearly celebration to take pride in the fact that we are all different and how LGBTQ lives have impacted history.
