MS Capital City Pride is developing a one-day, nonpartisan conference focused on LGBTQIA+ voting rights, election education, and civic participation in Mississippi. The conference is designed to provide practical, accessible information that helps attendees better understand the voting process, navigate barriers to participation, and engage more confidently with local, state, and federal government systems. Through educational sessions, community-based exhibitors, and resource-sharing, the event will connect attendees with both information and tangible support.

Groups that can provide direct support, referrals, legal help, advocacy, identity-document assistance, affirming healthcare, and community connection for LGBTQIA+ people in Mississippi.
Groups that address the real-life issues that can interfere with voting or registration, including housing instability, mental-health needs, healthcare access, transportation barriers, immigration-related fear, documentation issues, and social-service access.
