The colors of the rainbow are as diverse as the people in our community. To celebrate this diversity, MS Capital City Pride offers the Annual Rainbow Run 5k and Kids Fun Run. This is an inclusive, fun and competitive race that honors all LGBTQIA+ individuals and the allies that support us as it raises money for LGBTQIA+ causes.

The race will start and stop at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church Park (4419 Broadmeadow Drive, Jackson, MS 39206).

This amazing race on Saturday June 13, 2026 at 8 am will run through the beautiful and historic Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, MS. The race will start and stop at Broadmeadow UMC park (4419 Broadmeadow Drive, Jackson, MS 39206).
PACKET PICKUP is Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm at Broadmeadow UMC, or race morning beginning at 7:00 am. Onsite registration available. Day of registration is $55.
MS Capital City Pride's mission is to provide safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community while advocating for their needs and intentionally creating opportunities to mentor emerging leaders in the Jackson Metro area.
The vision of MS Capital City Pride is to build a community of people with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations who are united, visible, and equal with all Mississippians.
MS Capital City Pride is made up by a 11 person Board. Its members represent all sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, race, and age. MS Capital City Pride is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to organizations with 501(c)(3) status may be tax deductible.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 5th Annual Rainbow Run 5k and Kids Fun Run on June 14, 2025! This amazing race returned to the historic Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, MS. The race's start/finish line was at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church Park (4419 Broadmeadow Drive, Jackson, MS 39206).
We had over 140 participants, and had the most amazing time on a beautiful June day with runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and cheerleaders.
